Klopp on top, God the key.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp led his team to their first Premier League title and revealed that his Christian Faith helped him through the campaign.

“Jesus Christ is the most important person in history, for me this is an easy answer,” he told a German magazine.

“He took all the sins on himself and was nailed on a cross. That is why Jesus death was the greatest act ever achieved, because it changed everything.

“I feel I am in sensationally good hands,” he said.

Russia says marriage between man and woman

Russia voted in favour of a national referendum that defines marriage exclusively as a union between a man and a woman.

The referendum included a number of proposals, which also called for the inclusion of “a belief in God” as a core value.

“We are voting for the country… we want to pass on to our children and grandchildren,” Putin said.

The referendum also included a mechanism that would allow Putin to run for presidency again when his term ends in 2024.

Covid reduces number of abortions

Abortion services around the world were deemed “non-essential”, saving thousands of babies lives in the process.

In countries such as Romania, Italy and Croatia, as well as parts of the United States, hospitals were told to suspend non-emergency surgery, including abortions.

At the height of the crisis, 269 out of 280 hospitals in Romania were not providing abortions as a service.

In the US, governors in five states ordered or supported the cessation of abortions, leading to thousands of abortions being cancelled.
